I too have been a victim of Bobby Leitgeb and his (in my opinion) criminal professional conduct. This man gives the word con artist a whole new definition. Robert Leitgeb and his wife Cathy Leitgeb owned NexMove, Inc. located in Tarpon Springs, Florida which is how I met him. I had no idea of his long past history of lying, cheating and overall con artist daily living. He presented himself as a hard working, business man who had falling upon some bad breaks long life's path. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Bobby is one of worse liars and con artists I've ever heard of. Beware of his man, stay clear of him, his wife (who is also a liar and con artist), and any business dealings with him.

Some facts about Robert Leitgeb / Bobby Leitgeb that I know of are:

1. Bobby has a history of employees who steal from him, which is his excuse for not providing customers with refunds, not providing deliveries as promised, or anything else he needs to excuse himself from responsibility of.
If you look at Pinellas County Court House's web site you will see what I'm talking about. By reading the above post Bobby has reinvented this cleaver
lie again. There were no renegade employees, now or ever.

2. Bobby has a long negative history with the AMSA and the Better Business Bureau. For years Bobby has owned moving companies in Pinellas and Hillsboro counties all 11 of them (The names can all be seen on Sunbiz.org) have many, many customer complaints. Deliveries not made, refunds not given, damages not repaired, grossly poor customer service, etc.
The AMSA refused Bobby or any of his businesses membership- his name and companies are on the BLACK LIST of movers in Florida.

3. Bobby and his business associates always find themselves in a legal or ethical battle and the relationships always go south! Look at the Pinellas County Court Web Site, read the court cases he's been involved in. They go back almost 20 years. Most recently, (mid- 2006) he and his business partner are still in court trying to resolve the refund of over $50,000.00 that Bobby owes him for a partnership in NexMove. Or read the other reports available on the web about Bobby and his daughter (they were in business together) and how that business relationship ended.

4. Bobby has a long history of not paying his employees or creditors. During my tenure at NexMove I spent most of my day having to make excuses to customers about furniture deliveries that were promised and not made. Having to look at the window for the repo man who was looking to take the one and only truck we had to work with, locking our door and closing the blinds when employees who were promised pay came knocking. The warehouse was full of customers shipments that we had no way of delivering.
With one truck that we were hiding from the repo man and a business with no money there was nothing that could be done for the customers who had pre-paid Bobby for the service. It was a horrible situation.

5. Bobby has a long history of opening business, and aborting them after he drains it for his own personal gain. Look at the past businesses that Bobby owned, who provided refunds to those customers who's money he took and either sold or closed the business? No one.. I spoke with customers who gave National Furniture Express of Clearwater, Inc. (this was another business of Bobby's) and tracked Bobby down who were still trying to get money back from years ago. Of course Bobby told them his previous business partner was the one who owed the money. Similar to the lady who posted above, however this excuse was renegade employees. At the end of the day the consumers take the hit with no where else to turn for a refund. Late deliveries without compensation, claims that go unpaid, and customer service at it's worst.

Bobby has a home based office which is located at 3022 Northfield Drive, Tarpon Springs, FL 34688-9123. This may be another location that he may use as a business address. When customers are calling for refunds or deliveries or employees are knocking on the door for the pay they've earned, (wife and kids in tow in the car) or the creditors are calling perhaps you can find Bobby doing errands in his 2005 Cadillac or his 2007 Lincoln Navigator or maybe at his $550,000.00 house. Maybe spending a long four day weekend in the Florida Keys, his favorite weekend getaway. Where he's bragged about spending over $350.00 a night for a hotel. Where ever you find him lies and cons are not far behind.

The FMSCA or the DOT should stop this man from doing business in the moving industry. It's a shame that he is allowed to continue giving the moving industry such a bad reputation. Good Luck to you "Fool me Twice" and all the other consumers that have fallen pray to Bobby Leitgeb.
