I ordered a rare sci-fi VHS tape from Robert Ligtermoet in January of 2004. When the order still had not arrived by mid-March, I asked Ligtermoet to cancel the order and refund the purchase cost. He assured me he would do this, but as of 7/16/04, I'm still receiving invoices from DHL Express, the delivery company Ligtermoet used to ship the package, for the full purchase cost of the tape.

Ligtermoet claimed he reversed all charges, but he's not being truthful. I've contacted him several times via telephone and email, and his attitude has been anything but helpful. I have contacted DHL Express and informed them of this fraud perpetrated by Ligtermoet. I'd like to warn every film buff and collector that dealing with Robertsvideos is risky.

This customer ordered a film and I couriered it overnight at my own expense (it was on backorder and took about 3 weeks to get in stock)(normal delivery time can be 6 to 8 weeks) which cost more than the entire order. He had the film watched it and attempted to rip me off by saying the courier did not deliver it, when in fact I had proof of delivery by the courier company, I it is unfortunately a common occurance for people to order a film watch it and then claim they never received it in an attempt to avoid paying for it. I have a toll-free number so if there are any problems they can always call me and I will clear up any problems they may have the number 1-800-440-2960. In addition for credit card refunds it is only done by the credit card company as in the past I have given refunds (on rare occasions)only to find the customer also got a refund from Visa, Mastercard, etc. where they made double their money.
