I gave my credit card# so this video company could try to find a video for me. After six months nothing. Now, out of the blue they charge my credit card three weeks ago and I have not received any video. AND I have been forbidden to go to their website to try to resolve this. They charged my credit card two days after making a regular payment which I find odd. 30 days later, now I see it on my statement. Why am I forbidden from their website? The only logical conclusion is that they are theives, crooks, bandits. Just because they live in Saskatoon they think they can pull a scam on U.S. citizens. Well, Saskatoon isn't that far away for me to drive up there and kick your a*s!

#2 Consumer Suggestion
If fraudulent seller is in Canada?

If you have been ripped off by a fraudulent seller in Canada, best to contact local police in the seller's jurisdiction - in many places this will be the RCMP http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca
Unlike the US, there is no "postal inspector" as a separate office for dealing with mail fraud.

Chargebacks are a God send

Michael,
Call your credit card company right away and file a fraud complaint for a chargeback.
I have a written rule for anyone or any company that wants to get into e-commerce. Once the money crosses the border, it's gone. I suggest Americans avoid purchasing things from another country. It's too tempting for the fraudsters not to go for it.
