Robertson Tire Auto Repair Store Parts Price Gouging In Owasso Oklahoma

I am greatly concerned by the service that I received today at Owasso Robertson Tire. I wold like to make it clear that the gentleman that waited on me was polite and seemed helpful, but is in need of some training. I arrived shortly before 10 am Wednesday and was there a little over 3 hours. I purchased 2 tires at the cost of $319 invoice #44122594I was going to purchase an alignment, I knew that I probably needed some extra parts, but was unsure. I received estimate# 215 at the cost of $927.43

idler arm 2 @ 159.95 each total 319.90
upper ball joint 2 @ 69.95 total 139.90
shock 2@ 49.95 total 99.90

grand total 612.94(less discount of 53.24 = 559.70)
and labor 308.35 tax 48.59 total cost = 927.43

please allow me to list the cost of similar parts at other stores

As you can see the Moog (top of the line parts) sold at Oreileys are still cheaper than Robertsons, and the common brand sold at both stores VERY MUCH CHEAPER!!! I am greatly disturbed by this , and am unsure if the nice gentlemen at Robertsons are either highly unskilled in their product knowledge (which is what I hope the case is ) OR this is deliberate price gouging. I am very disturbed by this either way.

And I do believe that as a part of future estimates that Robertsons include the brand names of the parts sold, and allow your customers to choose the level of parts quality they desire. On a Hurst Olds I always bought Moog front end parts for precision driving, but as a soccer mom with a vanload of kids I believe the the regular brand will do!
I sincerely hope that someone looks into this situation before someone gets take by this price gouging. Also because of this price gouging I am unable to beleive anything on the estimate, until I go to another repair center to verify.
