Robin Aire Heating & Cooling did not install the system the way they said they would. Wixom, Michigan

I purchased an old home in downtown Milford, with the hopes of fixing it up and reselling it.  Since the house was being completely gutted, we decided to completely upgrade the HVAC system.

I called a couple of contractors and was impressed by the way that Robin Aire told us he was going to install the furnace. 

Since most of the basement is a dirt crawl space, Robin Aire told us we could utilize the attic space and put the furnace up there.  He assured us that since the vents were on the ceiling that if we put the cold air returns near the floor, we would get proper air flow and circulation.

This sounded logical, so we decided to go with Robin Aire.  HUGE MISTAKE!

Robin Aire installed all the vents in the ceiling and put in ONE cold air return in the stair case going upstairs, which is HIGHER than all the vents in the ceiling. 

What a disaster!  One morning, I woke up in a pool of sweat!  It must have been 90 degrees upstairs!  The furnace had to have run all night...BUT, when I went downstairs, it was only 52 degrees on the entire first floor!  Our first gas/electric bill was almost $900 for one month!

We called and they came back and put in another cold air return which has helped, but the house never heats or cools correctly and our monthly heating bills in the winters are still over $600/month.

When you hire someone to put in a furnace, you don't just hire workers who install vents and equipment, you hire expertise!  The company has none!  I would never EVER use them again or recommend them to anyone!
