For anyone thinking about registering with Robinhood, please read because you may think again:

I had just finished the long and arduous process of verifying my personal and bank information. They force you to hand over your social security so they can do a credit check. I answered all the security questions and got verified. I received an email stating my account was ready for trading.

I purchased 29 shares of SNAP Inc while it was still at $17/share. The next day received an email stating the transaction was cancelled. Ironically the price shot up to $30/share!

I contacted support and they gave me excuses that did not make sense e.g. sometimes that happens B.S. . . I believe Robinhood is one big ponzi scheme. Their operation is complete sketch. How do you verify someone and not allow them to trade? I requested to cancel my account and not only did they ignore my requests, they are currently holding my money hostage. They have been emailing trying to persuade me into trading but its too late.

Don't even bother calling their fraudulent customer service number. You will be on hold for eternity (2 hours until I hung up). They just wear you out and force everything to be done through email because they are cowards and its more convenient for them to not have to face unhappy customers.
