Dear Reader:
I purchased a trip to Jamaica for October 2004 in the amount of $1075.00 through ROBIN'S WORLD TRAVEL/CARNIVAL. A down payment of $25.00 was made in January and my complete payment in April 2004 before the deadline for the trip was to be paid in full in August. Due to a loss of employment I canceled my trip and was charged a 100.00 cancellation fee. I was refunded 75.00 by Air Jamaica. ROBIN'S WORLD TRAVEL/CARNIVAL owes me $900.00
I have been requesting my refund since June of 2004 and have only received broken promises. The owner Robin Mayton originally told me that she had family problems and was waiting on Air Jamaica to refund her the money that is why I have not received my refund. I advised Robin that my payments went to her company and not Air Jamaica. I was lasted contacted by the owner Robin Mayton the week 12/13/2004 and was advised a payment of $450.00 would be sent out to me that week followed by the balance of $450.00 the week of 12/20/2004.
To date I have not received any funds from ROBIN'S WORLD TRAVEL/CARNIVAL. The following is the contact information for the above company:
