Rock Tops Granite Took our $5K & no countertops received Lenexa Kansas

We did all of our up front homework on this company. We even got referrals from our family and friends in Ohio. We were to have our install TODAY. No telephone calls but we did call them on Friday and got no answer. SO, we went there on Saturday and the sign on the door read: "Closed for the day" what a lie - they had been closed for DAYS!!! We unfortunately paid by check and the overage of $500.00 was paid by Visa, which we hope to recover. We are told by our bank the we are out of luck on the checks. We will have to file in small claims court/or with their bankruptcy if they file.

We are like many of you, who saved and were feeling so good about getting our new countertops. Now, nothing. Our hearts also go out to the employees who knew nothing of this and lost weeks of pay - right BEFORE Christmas. I hope that "Charlie" might have a heart and address us all on this site. Until then we are keeping the faith and know that things will work out for the better.
