Roger Ach, cwpllc.com, approached me to invest in his company, OurTown.com, OurTown Media, LLC. He was aware at the time that I did not have any funds available to invest but assured me that this was a "no-lose" opportunity and the pre-money valuation would be far greater than my initial investment. I invested $50,000 in Roger Ach's (Chicago West Pullman, Cincinnati, Ohio company.) Ach agreed to, (signed Subscription Agreement), return the investment to me on July 31st, 2008 should I not be in a position to invest more money at that time.

It occurred to me in September that he never intended on returning the funds and it was a "well-thought" plan to steal the money from me back in February. He forwarded me fraudulent financial information and misrepresented the valuation of the company. He refuses to honor the terms of the agreement and refuses to return my initial $50,000 investment.

While I don't necessarily agree with Todd Michael Cohen's approach to this subject, I do agree that Roger does not act with the higest integrity. My dealings with him have been less then honorable on his side and I would unconditionally warn people to stay away from him

Two Sides of the Story

I am also a past and current investor with Mr. Ach. When I saw this I called the company and also did some checking on my own. I have never had a bad experience with any of my investments with this man or this company. Some ventures succeed, others don't.

You know your finances better than anyone else. Did anyone force you to invest. You made the decision to invest. Our Town looks like a very solid prospect to me. I don't know why you would want your money back. It looks to me like it has no place to go but up. Maybe your prospects have changed and you just want to back out. Unfortunately, these things don't work that way.

If you really have a contract that says you get your money back (doubtful) then take it to court instead of trying to ruin somebody by spreading malicious rumors.

Oh, by the way, I found out this man's full name when I called the company and I googled him. His name is Todd Michael Cohan of New Jersey. Check him out. Looks like a serial investor who never finishes anything he invests in.
