Roi Carpet Cleaning damaged property-didn't show for initial appt.-final cost way higher then coupon in NJ and PA Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Got coupon from Clipper Mag. called and set up and appointment that he never showed for. When I called after waiting all afternoon they apologized and I rescheduled, first big mistake. When he came out a week later he look at the job and came with a much much higher cost then what was disclosed on the initial coupon, please note what he did charge. When I let him know the cost was too high he threatened me with the 25.00 service fee, fine print in the coupon. After I let him know I wasn't paying anything since I was stood up a week before he pretended to call his office and speak to management to negotiate a lower price, beware he is the owner-the 19 year old owner. After that we came to an agreement to do the job, second big mistake, for 358.45 incld. tax. for four bedrooms and a hall all under 300 sq ft with the exception of our master that was 310 sq ft. After starting the job he half finished one room and finished another started on the third and within minutes called me up to show me a major issue. There was a 12" plus tear in my carpet that he stated was there. The tear was right next to our bed that I make and turn down every day. I stated that it was not there and asked him to leave which he would not do. I had to get very upset and call the police before he would leave. My house is less then 2.5 years old and we had a carpet upgrade! He charged higher then advertised damaged our property and then sued us. We spent the whole day in court to plead our case but because I signed the contract we still had to pay what he did (as per the Judge 200.00) less the repair plus court costs all in all over 160.00! Believe me, you are better off calling Sears or Stanley Steamer they will tell you higher up front but in the end you protect yourself. Also, the cost of this job would have only taken him about 40 minutes to complete? He makes more per hour then a surgeon! Beware!
