Roland Reznik's Ship Any Car Car Shipped to Wrong State, Overcharged/Lied to by Roland Reznik Fort Lee New Jersey

I met Roland Reznik CEO of Ship Any Car, LLC once a couple of years ago at my apartment building the Watermark's gym in NJ. He gave me his business card and I promised to use his service if I ever had the need to ship a car in the future. I am in the movie production business and help finance films out of NYC, but from time to time will work out of our firm's office in Hollywood. Because I was going to be working in Hollywood for three consecutive months, I decided to try out Roland's Ship Any Car service and ship my Cadillac Escalade from North Bergen NJ to Hollywood CA. I did the math and due to my extended stay in CA, it would be cheaper to ship my SUV than rent one while out there.

On the night prior to the day of my scheduled delivery, Roland called me saying I needed to be available to accept delivery at 10AM the next morning. I get a call from Roland at 7AM, waking me up while still in bed, with him screaming at me that my address on Hollywood Blvd doesn't exist and if I gave him the wrong address, I would be charged extra for the delivery. I assured him that it did exist and asked him why he was calling me so early. He said it was 10AM and I need to accept delivery of my SUV now or it won't be delivered today, and it will cost me a lot more to have it delivered tomorrow.

I informed Roland that maybe it was 10AM for him, but he should've known that it's only 7AM for me. I asked how was I supposed to know he meant EST. He then rudely stated that I'm an idiot, he's in the same state as me, and he's looking at his watch right now and it's 10AM. He said he lives in Florida now, not NJ any more, and if I have a problem with him he lives 30 mins away. I said, OK, what is that supposed to mean? He then threatened me saying nobody talks rudely to him without consequences, and that he lives in Miami now, which is just 30 mins away.

First of all, I didn't speak rudely to him. Secondly, I was totally confused a this point, how was Miami just 30 mins away? I asked him where the heck is my car right now? He doesn't answer my question and starts blabbing about how every celebrity that comes to Florida to stay at the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel, uses his service, and basically states I'm lucky he's even talking to me and he's the only CEO of a car shipping service that "cares so much about his customers." Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, my car was in HOLLYWOOD FL not HOLLYWOOD CA.

I said to Roland, "Omg man, is my car really in Hollywood FL right now when I clearly stated I'm in Hollywood CA and filled out all the paperwork for Hollywood CA? Suddenly, the phone disconnects, he hung up on me! I try calling him back on his cell phone, but get no answer. For the next 24 hours I hear NOTHING. Finally the next day, I receive an email invoice with the amount it will cost me to ship my car from Hollywood FL to Hollywood CA! I was outraged!

If Roland was a reputable businessman, he would pay to ship it from FL to CA himself, because it was his fault this mix up occurred! I have copies of all of my paperwork that I filled out, as proof I requested shipment to CA, not FL. Unfortunately, I desperately needed my car and had no choice but to pay the invoice, which cost 75% more than what the original fee was. All together, I spent nearly triple the amount I was originally quoted. I should've just rented a car out here, it would've been much cheaper. BEWARE of Roland Reznik and Ship Any Car, LLC! I strongly suggest AVOIDING this company!
