I made the mistake of trusting Ron Ackerman.  I left my dog with him for training and the next morning my dog was dead.  He turned my dog loose in his yard while he went back in his house.  Dog training 101 never leave a new dog unattended.  My dog was hit and killed by a car.

Ackerman did not apolgize, did not offer to pay for creamation, nothing.  He did not respond to email, calls from me or my vet.  I sued him and won, judgement was $35.50 shy of 10K. 

Do not let this man anywhere near your dog!  I have learned much more about him since then and learned a valuable lesson not fully vetting him.  There are much more disturbing findings then the lack of training skills.

Unfortuatley anyone can hang a sign out and call themselves a 'trainer'.  Do your homework people! 

Ditto that for breeders.  He breeds and sells cane corsos.  Do your homework when puppy shopping!  Pics of his puppies show posturing of being terrified.
