I ordered RosettaStone Spanish Latin America version 3.  I contacted them (Lisa) several times and asked that I get the shipping information.  She said that it would be updated.  Four days passed and it was not updated.  I contacted her again and she said that it would be shipped within the next two days.  It took over 14 days to arrive.



It finally arrived today 11/1/2010 and I started installing it on my computer.  I was asked to enter the activation code and once I did it said there was an error. I called RosettaStone customer service and after speaking with several people they let me know they have received over 200 people with that activation code and that it was a pirated copy.  They were not a authorized reseller.  I asked them what to do and they sent me a form letter to fill out and send in the information to them along with the software that was sent to me.  



I have contacted my credit card company and they have started a chargeback.  I also contacted Lisa and haven't heard anything from her.  On the original receipt it provides phone numbers to contact and they do not answer the phone.  They also provide websites to go to to dispute the charge and they do not open.  



This is the first time I have purchased an item from a reseller.  I was trying to save money.  This is the last time this ever happens.  Do not order from Rosettastoneforsale.com.  Fraud.

I received an email from Lisa last night.  She said "we confirm that our product is not scam.  Could you pls rework the product? And pls kindly cancel that dispute? Thanks.

I sent her another emailing stating that I filed several reports on line about the site and have also contacted the Attorney General for the state of Michigan.

I tried to log into the website today and it is not responding. The error states the server is down.  I have tried to email her and it comes back undeliverable.  Enough said.  They are a scam!
