Rothman And Wise, Previously , Chasemax Collected money for me and cashed it, then stopped taking my calls Houston Texas

After I was told by Al Russo, Operations Manager, that they would go legal because of my report here, he called me back a few days later saying he discussed it with "Mr. Rothman" (the man!!) and he wanted to settle this and pay me what is owed. Al Russo confirmed the amount owed to me, then said he does not write the checks himself but he knew it would be sent to me in the next few days.
About 1 month later and 2 messages left for him I have no check and no call back.
I am sending all the info to the District Attorney, if anyone wants to do the same you do not have to spend a dime to sue them, the State will do it for you and shut them down as well if they find fraud, which I believe they will.

A few hours after I posted the above report I received a call from Al Russo, Operations Manager at Rothman and Wise. He said he was called into his legal department that notified him about my report. He wanted to clarify things for me. He said that they are not Chasemax but they simply bought some contracts from them. He said they also got a couple of their employees. He said some of the old Chasemax phone numbers were being forwarded to their number and he had other victims of Chasemax call them.
He finished this off by saying that because Chasemax and one of their old employees did this, they ripped me off and ROthman and Wise were not responsible for my loss.
I told him that for the past 6 months, everytime I called and was lucky enough to talk to someone about the money they owed me, I was never told that, but I was always told that the check was either coming, or that it missed the 15th of the month deadline, or other excuses.
However, now that I have posted a report describing my experience with this company, I got a call promptly.
I asked to get my money, and then I would update my report.
I was told that they did not collect the money and that it was the previous company/previous employee mistake and they could not pay for their mistake.
He told me he was trying to be nice to me and explain the situation, but since I was not understanding and I was refusing to take the report down he would go legal.
