On 8-5-2008, I was called to the Roy Jorgensen office, located in the Headquarters bldg. of Toyota Motor Sales in Torrance, Ca.
Wes Himmons, the operations mgr, and James Neubauer- operations support mgr. and myself were in the site mgrs. office ( Mark thomas - site mgr).
I was told to sign a statement and when I asked to see the statement, Wes Himmons refused to let me read or examine the statement. James Neubauer sat quietly and never said one word during this meeting.
My request to have a witness present on my behalf was denied.
I was sitting to the right side of Wes Himmons and he held the statement he demanded I sign in his left hand, and it was rolled up. There was no way to assertain what was in the statement.
He further stated that if I did not sign this statement, he would take it to the next level. I again stated that I wanted to have the statement reviewed, and again my request was denied.
Wes Himmins states that we are now at the next level, and that I'm FIRED.
He asked for my work keys and two way radio which I gave him.
I returned to the central plant, gathered my personal belongings and left the premises.
Their California contractor lic # 715377.
According to the California State Contractors Board, this contractor as of 5-28-2008, did NOT HAVE ALL of the necessary contractor licenses to perform its work on site when I worked there.
Their contractor license condition is the same now as it was when I worked there. EXAMPLE;
They dont have a C-38 refrigeration license.
They have a C-20 ( hvac) but never had a C-38 according to the Calif, Contractors Board.
Myself and the other central plant operators routinely repaired on site refrigeration equipment. This can be verified through their Maintenance Management System hard copies. These hard copies are kept on file.

This is the kind of contractor Toyota Motor Sales Corp. has working for it. So much for Toyota's image pristine image. Did Toyota know about it? If they did, what did they do about it?
