I have signed up for many sweepstakes ,I thought this was in refference to one,it looked like lagitamate paper work and such,it was from a acct. Dept.It says 2009 payout data, this is Formal for (My Name) be it now stated that your Identity is confirmed, this is not a mistake. All you need do is just complete and return the attached 'PAYMENT COMPENDIUM DOCUMENT'as directed. When received in our headquarters where it is beingwaited for,all final proceduring is immediate.WE are attending you accordingly. In providing your appointed entrant directives and prize payment entrant requirements as stated by the sponsors paying the award Monies, you are asked only to include the $19.00 compedium data fee.And they also go on saying IT IS IMPORTANT YOU KNOW you are 100% IDENTIFIED for the award payment data total and winners are advised that taxes on the money must be paid according to the state/country residing in. Amount $1,850,000.00 and it is signed ,below the sig. prize monies Assessor.of course I just read you the bottom of the document. I would really like to talk to a attorney about this if any is known to this company, they arn't with the BBB.but there was one complaint and it was resolved by the complainted. There is a ID.#and such, they are a reporting firm for prize payment I filled out a application first before they sent me this letter so it seemed lagite,1st.place picked also, and such, and its been 4 weeks and haven't heard a thing and $19.00 short, please let me know if anybody has any info please.

Real contests and sweepstakes do not require you to send them money. It's supposed to be the other way around. Think about it. If you really won $1.85 million dollars, would the company that is supposedly giving you all this money require you to pay them $19? Only a scam requires you to pay money to get a so called prize.
One more thing. If you have filled out an "application" for these bogus sweepstakes, keep an eye on your credit reports and bank accounts. Your information will likely be sold over and over to various scammers. This is what often happens when you think you can get something for nothing.
