In any industry you have bad characters. But when someone comes to your home, packs up all your stuff, takes off with it, and won’t give it back Or, does an unporfeesional job — that’s a terrible time to figure out you hired a shady mover.

As a consumer ,I've never been in this situtaion before and I can honestly say and confess this last incident is something I would like you all to know. I have booked them two weeks in advance and than, nothing - NO SHOW - When I called the company during this ordeal they were rude and had zero customer service. Everything is your fault... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - CHEAP IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE... DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! They are fly-by-nights who do indeed subcontract the loads - despite what they tell you. Just a shame they work just inside the law with their estimated quotes - that continue to be estimates so they can change at their whim.

Moving is already traumatic and expensive enough; the last thing you want to worry about is getting ripped off by your mover. On their website they say :"Our mission is to move you, not just your boxes. We are friendly professionals packed up into one great company." I do nto think so. Now I have to pay new moving company $650, Pay extra for the storage, Pay extra for other expenses and at the end it costed me $1000 more than i didnt have to be or spend in the getgo.

My recomondation for your next chocie of movers.

Before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars and entrust your valuables with strangers, here are a few tips for ensuring a positive moving experience, as well as scams to avoid:

Screen potential movers. All companies that do interstate moves must be registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. You can use its search engine to screen for complaints, safety information and company contact information by company name or by the state where its primary business office is located. and, do not find them on Craigslist! that is how i found Royal Inc by Kael Castillio. You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can't possibly live long enough to make them all yourself.
