Royal Oak Financial Group A true fiasco Troy, Michigan

 This was back in 2006 and i was in the middle of a life changing event. I had no credit and a loan was hard to come by. The surgery i needed would end up costing 7,500 out of pocket and desperately i tried to come up with the money. One day out of random this company, Royal Oak Financial Group, contacted me and a nice lady, Carla Tippin, said i was approved for 15,000 and told me that i needed to send 1850 to secure my loan.... Well needless to say after a lot of borrowing and a lot of people saying it sounded suspect, i went through with working 16 hour days for 2 weeks straight to come up with the money. I went to the store to send the money via moneygram and even the lady behind the counter did not want to send it being as it was going out of country to some guy i really never heard of. I was lead to believe in good faith that was the man who would give me the loan and my security was a show of good faith. At that point i had no other choice. The money was sent and 3 weeks went by after i was told it would be in my account in 48 to 72 hours. I called up there and another lady answered i cant remember her name but she ACTUALLY wanted me to send 850 dollars more. Well i got the police involved and literally the cop came to tears, there was nothing i could do. My friends all came together and came up with the money for my surgery and the silver lining is you make mistakes to learn and i have learned to always research and no loan ever requires a downpayment, except on a vehicle. It has been years removed but please believe i keep my eye open for any arrests made in that group, i believe there is a special place in Hell for people who prey on those who come at a time of need, feed on their desperation, and kill all hope for those who just need a push at times. And if there is a Carla Tippin out there, if i ever hear a whisper of any whereabouts, i assure you i will knock you the f* out! I dont hit women but you have an enemy for life!!!
