I purchased a SIM card to use during my One month visit to USA.

The loquacious clerk removed my Dutch SIM card and put in the Lycamobile one.

I purchased the one month deal for $24.99

He took my credit card details and put $249.99 on as a security deposit, in case I wanted to upgrade my plan.  Even though I told him I would not do that, he said it s required.

Now I am about to leave the USA.  A message pops saying that the plan will automatically renew unless I cancel.  So when I try to cancel, it' s impossible.

When I call the service number of www.simplemobile.com listed on the receipt and give them the SIM card #, they have no record of my card.  They cannot help me.

I now have the huge amount of $249.99 on my credit card bill to fight!

I also wonder if simplemobile.com is also "in" on the scam.
