Me and my fiance recieved a phone call saying we one a trip to Hawaii and we had to go pick up our tickets and find out about the trip. 2 HOURS LATER we found our selves sitting in a hall being told how all pots and pans are bad for you, basically scared us into purchasing a 12 piece set of cookware for 1200.00.
I received the pots and found out that Royal Prestige completely scammed me into purchasing the pots... that in my opinion arent worth 2 cents. The crack, burn, smell, you cannot clean them without materials falling off of them. When i tried to return them they sent the same pots back to me not fixed not cleaned NOT EVEN LOOKED AT. LIFETIME WARRANTY MY a*s!!!
after they ignored my phone calls, return my pots to me, treated me like s**t i figured the only way to get thru to them was to stop paying i figured they would have to contact me then. Well guess what they did. THEY DID NOTHING BUT THREATEN ME. the employees there are extremely rude. There are so many complaints on this company that i dont know what to do anymore. I want out of the contact and i want my money back can anybody help me. I will take them to court if i have to.

royal prestige does use scare tactics to sell there pots and pans. so many hispanics are so gullible and believe these horrible things that the RP's tell them. i bought the pots and the handles melted i have had some things replaced(top handles) they are just unorganized always changing the amount owed. they charged me off after arranging a repayment plan now it is on my credit report even though i paid them in full. i have had to call them a number of times to verify the amount due always being quoted an amount higher than on my invoice only to have the person answering the call say they will call back because the computer is down. i always called back and they would agree with the amount that i had in the end. i am so glad to be done with this company. now the credit report is next!

Crystal,
I would check with the city in which the sales transaction for the cookware occurred. Many cities (city codes) have laws in which solicitors, such as Royal Prestige, are required to be registered and possess permits or licenses to sell products (e.g., cookware). I know for a fact that Royal Prestige has violated this law elsewhere.
Also, let the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office of your state know about the situation. My sister did that when she purchased Royal Prestige cookware that burned and was not easy to clean as RP said it would be --- exactly as you mentioned. And eventually, after a long fight with the company, the company took the cookware back and gave her a refund. At first, the company may threaten to sue you and such, but this is nothing new -- fight back, you have rights!!
Let me know if this helps!

Possible Solution?

Send a telegram to Royal Prestige to cancel your order before the 3 days are up. Telegrams are legally binding to the the company. They can't lie about the date or time they received the telegram.
Do not accept the cookware. Refuse it and DO NOT SIGN for it. Then you can truthfully say you never got it. They will have to produce a signature to prove you did. They can not make you pay unless they can prove you received it.
Does anyone know if these tactics have NOT worked?
