Royal Transportation representative May handled my household move from Califronia to west virginia in april 26,2012. I was quoted a fair price of $2500.00, and told that my belongings would stay on the same truck throughout the juorney. This did not happen, the truck that arrived was a small vantruck. t was told that the stimate was incorrect after they loaded all my items. The driver Micheal who was a liar, told me to read a contract he handed me, that was three pages long and in real small print. I weight all my items and found the wight to be 2500 pounds. Micheal estimated the weight to be 4500 pounds and the estimate rose to $ 4500.00. I told him that I wanted the truck weighted and he told me that they would weight it at the warehouse and if the 4500 pounds was correct, that I would have to pay an additional $ 1000.00. May is a smooth liar, and in fact I feel she is a crook along withis guy name John who would never give me his last name. Well the real problem occurred upon delivery after getting threating phone calls from John that my items would be destroyed if not delivered earlier that the delivery date. Upounn packing my items that came by way of low-cost moving company, we found that a brand new  6 foot fiberglas ladder was missing, a box of household item 2 damaged filing cabinets, and a damaged expensive record. Filed a claim with their insurance company, Anthem Claim Management, out of Anthem, Arizonia for a refund of my losses. They sent me a notice to sign that would release Royal from any wrong doing and a promise check for $ 12.00. I thought they we kidding, since I paid $ 10.00 in postage to send them the information and photos they needed. I laugh at their offer and sent them a letter explaining that I would do everything possible in my powers to warn everyone of this unreliable and crooked company.
