My company established a Social networking site through rSitez and was "promised the moon" including branding, seo optimization for each member (to mirror that of "facebook") after paying well over $3000.00 usd.

The rSitez support was terrible, (virtually non-existent) and after we paid them they stopped responding. You cannot customize anything. rSitez up-charges for features which rSitez said were part of the price. The people that operate the rSitez system "Rohan Hall" and the other owner (I will update later with full name) literally "disappeared" when it came to support. The support tickets were never truly affective as the people who own rSitez truly did not understand their own program nor the basics of Social networking software or SEO optimization. rSitez does not take care of the glitches/problems. They farm it out.

When they did return calls it was always from a blocked number. Their is no live support only support tickets. WE were promised 24 hour support for one year. This is in no way a relational database, nor is it a social network platform. rSitez own site looks unprofessional, that should have been a red flag. I made a huge mistake going with their program...I asked for examples of other sites using their platform and they looked terrible as well. My bad! Lesson learned... Save your money and your sanity and don't get scammed by rSitez as they are a Rip off!!

rSitez owner "Rohan Hall" claims to be a "social Networking entrepreneur" on his twitter page @rSitez however he only has a whopping 18 followers and 11 tweets in 3 years. This "self proclaimed" world traveler is obviously running and doesn't want to be found by disgruntled clients such as myself.  Beware of false and misleading claims and promises. Run don't walk... rSitez talks about reputation management on their twitter account. I think they need to manage their own. I consider this to have been a poor investment but at the upside is it is a tax right off... Woo h*o... 0 STARS RATING, rSitez SCAM, rSiteZ RIP-OFF

Clarification of reported issues

We're sorry that Diane was not happy with our services.  After she made the above post we discussed the issues by phone and was able to resolve these issues with her.  Even though she tried to remove this post the site does not allow deletions once a report has been filed.  Please notice as well her retraction of the items she posted on this page.  I am posting the following clarification for third parties who may have come across this post and would like to have more details regarding this.
 
Much of the issues experienced by this client surrounded communication and her expectations, which we accept some responsible for. We post a lot of details on our website about our products and services but in some cases she did not clearly understand what was included in our services. We continue to improve the content on our website regularly to minimize these issues and include 24/7 support staff for all our plans to respond to any questions clients have about our services.

Some of the specific issues this client had are below:

SEO - Client expected SEO services. We do not provide SEO services nor do we every claim to. We do however provide tools that our clients can use to increase SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for the site we create for them. All our sites include the ability to add metatags, robot.txt, and site maps. However, to get top ranking by Google will require an individual to build backlinks and provide other SEO services which we do not provide.

Branding - Expectations with branding and marketing. We are not a marketing company nor do we every suggest in any way that we do marketing for any client. We do provide tools that our client can use to upload logos, banners, and rebranding their website. To do full marketing and online branding will require marketing personnel. We do not provide this service.

Customizations - All our sites come with an Admin section that allows the site owner to do various customizations including changing and redesigning homepage, add banners, add logos, change site themes, change CSS etc. You can add new pages to the site, change menu items, see analytics etc. These things are included with our paid plans. Our sites comes with dozens of features, many of which are customizeable. All included features are listed on our website. However, if additional customizations are needed where our developers will need to write code, build new features, or do site redesigns we charge separately for this service.

The payment is a one time payment for the specific features we develop. This client paid for specific custom features. We completed the development of these features. She requested more features but did not expect to pay for the additional work. We were not able to develop these additional features without charging for them. We have since then improved our communication in this area as well so that each specific feature that will be included in a custom project is well documented before the project begins to minimize any confusion or misunderstanding. This includes project requirement specification documents, project designs and other documents that the client needs to sign off on before we start the project.

Support - We provide 24/7 support for all our sites. The support staff are also experienced developers that have an intimate understanding of our product, because they also work on different development tasks for our product. Support however is by email only. The client was unsatisfied because she was not able to speak directly with our software developers even though she was able to speak directly by phone with the project manager and executives in the company.

We are never happy with an unsatisfied customer. We try our best to make all our clients happy and are sincerely sorry that even 1 client had a bad experience with us. As stated before, we have since then resolved the above items with this client and have taken steps as well to ensure that other clients do not have a negative experience when working with us.

rSitez Resolution to my original complaint - Complaint retracted

Our original complaint has been resolved by rSitez Social networking and Rohan Hall.

Unfortunately, due to the terms of the "Rip-Off Report" website our complaint can only be updated not removed in it's entirety.

As a result I would like to retract our comments, and state that we would like to delete the comment in it's entirety but are again unable to do so because of the ripoff report website features.
