The base pay was the lowest I have scene! You can't pay that low and expect to have good talent; hence, the revolving door. Respect? There wasn't even an ounce of it. The management at RTTEMPS was so inconsiderate of their employees it was a shame. There was never a regard for a job well done. Can we say sweat factory? New employees were not permitted to take a single paid day off until after 6 months! For crying out loud, how can you expect a person not to take a day off for sickness, death, life problems, mental health, etc. What's the point of accruing personal time off if you can't use it?
Even more, since no one ever met the companys expectations, then one would perpetually be on probation; which meant after 6 months you may still not have the opportunity to take a paid day off - which was so common with this company. Also, if you don't try to kill yourself on your way in to work on a snow day - you won't be paid for chosing personal safety over going to work. That's just tipping the iceberg. Let's talk about micromanagment. Expect management to call you on the hour every hour to only stress you out and tell you how much you failed at your efforts! How can one ever build confidence in their abilities when your efforts are always squashed? Lets just say one can never leave this company on good terms. If you give 2-3 weeks notice you will be guaranteed not to be able to fulfill your notice, your pay will be cut along with your commission and accrued PTO. Its always personal. And, dont ever expect to receive a letter of recommendation. The irony is that RTTEMPS expects all of their recruiters to get 3 letters of recommendation on everyone they hire claiming that if they were a good employee it should be easy. But no, RTTEMPS cant even deliver on their own principle! I was told that a letter of recommendation could be used in a fraudulent way! Can we say paranoia? Why wouldnt you give acknowledgement for a job well done? Benefits were essentially non-existent. You were expected to either pay $35 per week with a $2,000 deductible or pay $95 per week without a deductible! If you do the math there is no coverage! Not only that, but your expected to work evenings and weekends and be on- call without pay. Is that even legal? Please give it some thought before accepting a job with RTTEMPS!

RTTEMPS Is Battling With Legal Issues
AUTHOR: Sam Dennis - (United States of America)

Doing your job is hard enough without the threat of employee lawsuits hanging over your head. But make no mistake employees today have a WEALTH of information at their disposal about what you can and cannot do as an employer. When one mistake could land you in court, you need to be confident and secure that everything you do is legally sound. With the number of employee lawsuits on the rise, its never been more critical to have a thorough understanding of todays hottest legal issues ones that could land your company in hot water. Think about the lost time, productivity, and money that can come from a single lawsuit and thats even if your company wins! Just imagine what would happen if your company lost in court. Complaints of wage theft have risen as the economy tumbled. Allegations range from underpayment to not getting paid at all. It's definitely on the rise nationally because of the economic crisis. Employers are desperate to shave corners when their profits are going down, and some are just greedy. RTTEMPS is one of them.

It's clear to me that the author of this report has been trapped in a basement writing manifestos about how he will take over the world by making up lies and writing false claims about companies he hates on Websites that allow him to do so. RTTEMPS has done nothing to him, are a group of decent, hardworking folks and are trying to help people who are like so many, out of work and hoping to find a job they want to do. Everything he says about them is a lie.

This report is old, vengeful and completely on-sided

It seems to me that this report -- which is now almost two years old needs to be removed because this person clearly has an issue with this company that should have been resolved by now. My expereince with this company has been nothing but positive, I've enjoyed working with them and they have been very helpful in these tough times to find me sustainable placement in my field. It's seems rather unfair to have this belligerent posting mar a company that is doing what it can to help people in these tough times.

RTTEMPS Ruined my life
AUTHOR: Rttemps - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, April 12, 2008
RTTEMPS ruined my life. The stress the managment at this company has induced caused me physical and psychological distress that I am still dealing with. RTTEMPS still owes me about $1000.00 in unpaid wages. I worked so hard for this company and I am entitled to the wages I earned while working there. I don't understand why an employer would ever do such a thing.
