RUSH POWER SYSTEMS/ Darren Flint (owner) Work not performed, threatening emails after I asked for refund West Jordan Utah

          Darren Flint the owner of Rush Power Systems ripped me off. Its a long story.......

I hired his company to rebuild a wiring harness and ECU out of a 1985 toyota pickup 4x4. He tested it and told me he can fix it. When I got the components back and re-installed them it still did not work. I called him and he told me to send it back. He got back to me a week or so later and explained that he did not have the equipment to properly test it fully. He decided to hook ECU into a friends truck that was the same year as mine. The result was my ECU still did not work and it even fried this persons wiring harness.

Darren then suggested that I have a custom ECU built from Mega squirt or convert my truck to Carb. He bascially told me he could not fix it. Naturally I wanted my money back. He changed after that. He became very defensive and told me to "go punch sand". He said that it was all my fault because he told me he could not fix in the beginning. Now why would I pay 700 dollars if he told me he couldnt fully fix it? He also said that it was my mechanics fault and that the new wrap on harness was tampered with so it voids warranty. No body ever tampered or changed any work he did. Why would we? I told him that I would seek reimbursment thru legal means. He became more inraged and told me that he was now going to charge me 9 hrs at 60 per hour for all the trouble shooting. He said he will keep my copmponents for callaterall and if I did not pay within 20 days he will send me to collections and sell my components.

Do not do business with this company!!! Owner is a thief!!! I am now in the process of seeking legal action. I want Darren to learn that he cannot treat customers this way. This is not just about money but principle. I have all records of his threats in email form.
