I needed to do a run of 10K business cards for an upcoming event this weekend. Rush flyers came highly recommended to me by a friend, and so I went with them.

I called customer service to inquire about shipping costs, and was told that they have a promotion going on right now, wherein Fedex overnight costs only $30. To obtain the discount, simply place the order online, and then call customer service immediately afterwards to make the promo adjustment.

That seemed simple enough, since I have done such adjustments with other companies in the past.

I ordered the cards, and then called customer service to apply the adjustment. I was then told that since I had already placed the order, my credit card had been charged the $350 total amount (of which $240 was shipping, for BUSINESS CARDS) and that it was impossible to change the order.

According to them, I was supposed to initiate the order, and save it without submitting it, then call them and they would process the adjustment over the phone, take payment, and put the order through. Besides not seeing any "save" button, only the gargantuan "submit order!!" button on the ordering page, this just doesn't make sense.

After being explained how things are supposed to work, I told him I wanted to cancel my order (It had been placed just minutes before) and that I would create a new order following their "guidelines". I was informed that a 15% cancellation fee would apply, ($52) which is absolutely ludicrous.

I was told to call back the next morning, when management was in. The next morning, I called and spoke to several other, but even more rude customer service reps. After over an hour of time on the phone between them all, I was repeatedly told that they had "done nothing wrong," that I was completely at fault, and the only option I was presented with was that the difference would be applied as "credit" which I can use for a future purchase.

Future purchase!! Are you crazy! I don't even want to go through with this purchase, but I won't cancel because I don't want to pay you $52 for having wasted my valuable time.

So now I have a worthless $180 credit with the company, over an hour of wasted time, and who knows how the quality will be on the actual cards themselves....Time will tell.

I just wish I would have noticed the other bad reviews that this company has here, so I could have avoided the whole situation!
