This was funny at first, but now that I've thought about it; it is kind of irritating.
We were looking for a new car and both myself and my wife sent out several email request for internet quotes on vehicles. Turns out we both requested the same information on the same car (identical stock number car) from Russ on the same day.....Guess what?
My quote was $700 less than my wife's. We don't have the same last name and tried to negotiate further over the next couple days......male name got a final price of about $600 less than the best price they would give to a female. It is ridiculous that this kind of behavior goes on today.
Have another buddy who tried this as an experiment and the same thing happened to him.
If you need a toyota and decide to shop at beaverton toyota, make sure you bring a man with you!!!! Better yet, find another dealer....
