Russ Darrow West Bend WI Took 5 weeks to fix a Jeep. Refused to admitt it was their fault. Wouldnt do anything to make the situation better. On top of it all the bill came back $2,000 more than quoted due to poor quoting. West Bend, Wisconsin

My Jeep didnt start one day.  We had it towed to Russ Darrow in West Bend.  They looked at it and said that out of 7 quarts only 2 were in it.  We had just checked the oil 2 weeks before.  The vehicle had been running perfect no problems.  No lights or anything to say something was wrong.  (I get a light for a low spare tire)  They quoted us for repair.  We decided to have them fix it.  It took 5 weeks to get it done!! 

The first engine they got in had a problem with it.  So their vendor made a mistake and somehow I was being punished.  They not once offered a refund or any compensation for missing my vehicle for 5 weeks.  On top of it they never quoted a new manifold which then had to be ordered and added to the total.  Grand total was $2,000 more than quoted.  I still wonder why I never got a light or any kind of warning of a problem? 

How can Chrysler have something this major happen with no warning.  So I called the manager John L to complain with it taking 5 weeks and being over by that much for cost.  He insisted it wasnt their fault (obviously it was mine).  He didnt care that I was not happy.  Even said we agree that I shouldnt come back.  He is obviously just an employee who doesnt care about the corporation he works for.  Horrible customer service.  I wasnt asking for much.  I could have rebuilt the engine myself in 5 weeks.
