Had been trying to find a loan, Just to get us back on our feet,but because of bad credit it was hard to find any conventional loans, so started looking on the internet. We received three offers two of them did not check out and were rejected. The offer we accepted checked out every way we could check it out, so we proceeded.
I contacted the company and was given the loan amount that we had been approved for, which was 5000.00 dollars and the terms they requested a 924.00 insurance deposit. After faxing information to them and them receiving loan documents, signing and faxing them back we were instructed to send the deposit by Western Union to a Krista Brown who was the banks authorized person to pick up the deposit. We were assured that the loan amount would be deposited into our bank by Friday morning. Friday came and went and no money. When I contacted Mr. Winters I was told the money should be there , I checked with the bank and they had received nothing. I contacted Mr.Winter again and He said that if there had been a problem it would have come in there daily meeting and it hadn't so our bank must be holding it. Contacted the bank again and still nothing.
It is now Monday and I was just informed that because of a bankruptcy that they would need another 600.00 for a security deposit and if we decided to not take the loan it would 15-30 days before we received out deposit back. I have informed them that that is not good enough and the money needed to be returned immediately . That is where we are standing at this time

Its the advanced fee loan scam. Its been going on for years. Unfortunatly you will not have any legal recourse at all because this operation is not even in the US. I know they probably said they were, but the operated out of Canada. They will be long gone by 12/20 and the phone will be disconnected. They will just set up new phone numbers and a new company website and be right back in business.

Have contacted Russell-Park Funding's agent Mr. Winter several times.
Was told that we could expect our refund around 11/25/08 via Fed-X still has not arrived, Have given company till 12/20/08 to send refund then will take whatever legal action is open to me
