Following my purchase -- at formidably high expense -- of several gallons of the Rustoleum deck reconditioning paint product known as "RESTORE" -- and then proper application of said product to my deck and stairs -- per instructions .... to-the-letter -- I discovered the product to be inferior, and most-definitely fallible, faulty, and flawed after it had been allowed to "cure" for several days after application.  The specific product failure was given rise as the unfortunate tragic result of not being able to withstand the rain .... sadly the product all dissolved and became gradually washed-away during the course of only a few hours of inclement weather characterized primarily by the occurrence of a simple, gentle summer rain-shower.

As one would imagine, I was entirely shocked, stunned, incredulous, and miffed by what I had witnessed regarding the incontrovertibly terrible product performance (i.e., "non-performance"), and likewise failure of both the product and the deck-restoration project .... a project which included several hours of prep-time and yest another instalment of time and effort in applying the product to my deck in a proper manner, as per the product application instructions, precautions, and warnings, etc., as apropos.

In terms of "adding insult to injury", and thus making matters worse, I became affronted, alienated, dissed, frustrated, and then full-on insulted via the absolutely vapid, abusive, and essentially non-existent Customer Service Department's unwillingness to participate in anything remotely resembling actual assistance and attempting to effect any form of problem resolution -- or consumer/customer satisfaction. The net result of my efforts to communicate my grievance both via e-mail and telephone failed to produce any results whatsoever -- no acknowledgement, no courtesy, no answers to my e-mail inquiries, and no return phone calls in response to several voice messages I had left for customer department staff personnel to appropriately address.

The sad and ugly outcome of all the aforementioned madness has combined in such ill-manner as to leave me thoroughly disappointed with the "RESTORE" product, and moreover, just absolutely disgusted with the incredibly disturbing advanced degree of consummate arrogance and reprehensible pompous cavalier disregard that has been consitently exhibited by the customer service arm of the Rustoleum Corporation.  Such repugnant behavior serves only to alienate, anger, disgust, and dishearten innocent customers .... and thus also possesses the inherent undeniable capability to drive such customers away with a severe case of "bad-taste-in-mouth" disorder.  This unfortunate circumstance is entirely their disgrace.

In summary, I am out a lot of money and have expended much time and effort to no avail -- with nothing but frustration and utter sadness to show for it all -- yes indeed, all-for-naught in all endeavors related to this ugly mess of an undeservedly failed project that has unmercifully befallen me .... therfore I have become duly compelled to admit and thus state-for-the-record that I believe the Rustoleum product "RESTORE" to be a colossal RIP-OFF of ultimate mammoth proportion, and the corporation itself to be draconian, arrogant, and severly customer "un-friendly" as well.  Such a truly sad, pathetic, ugly, and altogether pitiful state of affairs.

Addendum: RUST-OLEUM Product ("RESTORE") Failure To Perform As Advertised, and Disturbing Problematic Consumer Relations Dept. Arrogance & Incommunicado Avoidance of Legitimate Customer Complaints

With reference to contents of this Rebuttal Title presented above, it stands-to-reason and moreover, it does indeed logically follow that such Consumer relations Department misbehavior cannot be left to go unprotested and/or unchallenged .... and in likewise fashion, should not be allowed to persist.  Continuance of such deplorable customer service ill-intended modus-operandi and attendant vile practices only serve to effectively abuse and alienate the consumer public at-large, and therefore must not be tolerated.

All the aforementioned having been stated, I cannot visualize myself as continuing to remain a RUST-OLEUM customer into the future.
