Rv Rental Request rentarvnationwide.com, NATION WIDE RV RENTAL COMPANY TOTAL RIP OFF BEWARE!! Internet

We planned our vacation around the rental of an RV from rvrentalrequest.com, we live in Hawaii and were to be traveling to California. We put a 1,000 deposite down on a class A RV to be picked up in San Jose California. The sales agent Lynn said we were booked and debited my account.

2 weeks later I called for directions to the pickup location, she informed me that they were still looking for an RV for us and that the only ones available were going to cost 3 times the amount and/or we would have to pickup from another location 2-3 hours away, which was a problem because we already paid for our flights to San Jose.

After 6 weeks of no return calls or emails I eventually got through and cancelled my reservation, they first said it would be 10 business days for a refund, when that past their manager Marcus Jones informed me it would be 15 business days, it has been over 2 months and they refuse to give me back my deposite. They have ignored both my Bank and my Attorney's letters.

What they don't tell you when you book with them is that they are a "Broker", which means they don't really have an RV but they will have to find one. THEY DON"T DISCLOSE THAT. They are extremely unprofessional and run their company from cubicals with phones all around the country.

One time Lynn answered the company (888) 418-6889 number and said that she wasn't at her desk and she could't talk because I was calling her cell phone. Very strange business that has been a total nightmare to deal with.

I am digging deeper into this company and finding they have many websites that all lead back to the same place, different URL's though.
