I too was contacted today offering a line of credit for $5,000.00 on either Visa or Mastercard. When I had questioned the banks they are representing or affilated with they mentioned all national banks. Very insistant on obtaining and confirming your checking account routing information. This made me hesitant in confirming the number since they insisted on the one being present was the routing number. Their way of getting the routing number from your checking account and then who knows what?
Becareful, as I was told to check their website, while on the phone I did, and yes it is lame. Site provides no information as their offering on telephone. BEWARE, this is one bad deal.

The rebuttal about needing to be recorded is a lie. This company uses a recording so they can record ONLY the part of the conversation that says you ok the money withdraw. They DON'T record the parts guarunteeing the credit card (because they aren't going to give you one). The tell you ANYTHING to get your bank # & then when you complain they blame it on that 1 person who they say is the only one lying to you. None of us believes you. Period.

Not safe

It is never safe to give you account information over the phone inless you or the people you're talking to record the conversation, that's why this company has a verification recording which makes the deal safe over the phone (for the customer and the consumer). A verification recording is used to verify all information that was given during the call. That's if you know if you're being ripped off or not.
