Ryan's Rides - Hennessey's Auto Sales Worst Car Dealership Ever!!! Stay away from these crooks!!! Nampa Idaho

I bought a used car from hennessey's auto sales aka ryan's rides. The shock was blown, and the ABS light was on because the brakes needed to be changed, and the rotors were worn out. haggled the price because of these issues (a reputable car dealer wouldn't sell acar in this condition anyway). I thought that this was the only thing wronge with the car...but I was very mistaken.

I just bought the car and was driving it home, when on the freeway, after about 20 minutes of driving, the engine pretty much shut down. I was pressing the gas, and nothing was happening. The "check engine" light came on. I had to pull over on the freeway, and turn off the car. I then drove it to the nearest exit at 20 mph, and immediately took the car to a mechanic to get it fixed. (the same day i bought it on an "as is" no warrany from this "dealership")

Of course I should have taken the car to a mechanic BEFORE i bought it, and that was my mistake. You live and learn. I just trusted these guys, and THAT was the biggest mistake....

The mechanic pointed out numerous things that I was not aware of. The car had been in an accident (even though I ran a carfax FOR MY OWN MONEY, it didn't show bcause it wasn't reported). The evidence fron the accident was from bondo work done on the body. Also, the drivers door didn't lock. Furthermore, half the lights in the dash didn't work. The windshield sprayer on the driver's side didn't work...and so on and so forth.

I called the dealer about all this (including the check engine light half an hour after purchase) and asked him what my options were. He replied, "Well, nothing. It was bought as is." Literally. That's what he said.

I know that he know about all these problems with the car. The evidence of an accident was clearly visible to anyone who knows a little about cars, and especially to a dealer. Yet he said the car was totally fine, no problems, no accidents...yeah, right.

Save your selt some stress, and NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS!!!
