Sacred Heart University expensive school with minimal staffing that doesn't care, poor education, and advisers that don't care Fairfield Connecticut

I have a friend Jen who attends Sacred Heart. She has had nothing but bad things to say about it...but now that I've read between the lines and seen it with my own eyes, I was quite disturbed by how this university runs.

A. Sacred Heart has a tuition that can run upwards of $20,000. For that kind of money, you would expect quality classes taught by instructors who will put every minute forward to educating. Not the case. The instructors are always ending class early...using excuses like "I want to watch the tennis game." $20,000 is the tuition if the class is 3 hours, or 3 minutes. Wouldn't you want to get the best education for your money?

B. Advisers are impossible to get a hold of. They don't care about your schedule, and never inform you until it is too late that the classes you are taken won't help you graduate. They give the "too bad for you" attitude.

C. Parking is a pain in the butt here.

D. Sacred Heart does not offer the college athmosphere. Everyone who attends is rude. Everything that is normal in life like relationships are discouraged. Granted this school is Sacred Heart...but the "Catholic Tradition" doesn't really apply.

E. Transferring credits to here from other schools is virtually non-existant.

F. Professors will have you take a test, but won't tell you it's timed until he says "Time's up." Professors rarely give "help."

If you want the college life...void from looking at Sacred Heart. It's a dull school, and you'll feel like your money is going down the drain. The only thing good about Sacred Heart is the name. That diploma is an expensive piece of paper, especially when you didn't learn anything...considering you class was let out early every single day.
