BUYER BEWARE. Don't let the smiles and friendly chatter cloud your decision to purchase from Safari Scooter. Please consider my experience before purchasing from them:

I purchased a 150cc motorcycle/scooter from Patricia Trish Glatter when she co-owned the scooter store, Have Scooter Will Travel which was located at 1421 E. Sunset, Suite 15, Las Vegas, NV 89119. The total cost of the TNG (Twist N' Go) motorcycle was $3,433.55 of which I gave them $1,033.55 on the spot. Of course this transaction was smooth since I taking one of their Verona 150s off their hands. After getting the bike home and upon the need for the 1st gasoline fill-up, I noticed that the gas gauge wasn't working. When I tried to contact Ms. Glatter regarding the matter, I discovered that the company had pulled up stakes and could not be found. I have since only had trouble with my TNG (Twist N' Go) motorcycle/scooter. This experience has robbed me of the joy of riding and the savings I had hoped to gain from purchasing a motorcycle/scooter.

After the disappearance of Ms. Glatter's and her business Have Scooter Will Travel, I took the bike to several places to have the scooter serviced but they either refused to work on the scooter or were unable to resolve the issue. Apparently, TNG (Twist N' Go) was an unreliable manufacturer probably part of the reason for Ms. Glatter's abrupt business closure.

Ms. Glatter resurfaces as Sahari Scooter. I took it in and was charged $500+ (because the bike was past its warranty period). Their mechanics have been unable to resolve the overheating issue and while sitting in their shop, a new problem developed -- the rear brakes stop working. Ms. Glatter's mechanics worked on the brake situation for weeks and when we went to pick it up, the brakes still didn't work and we notice that they damaged/broke the faceplate. Ms. Glatter took our money and threw us out the store. We called the police and 2 metro cars came to our aid. The police said that there was nothing they could do and advised us to contact the BBB and file a civil complaint.

I feel since Ms. Glatter sold me the TNG (Twist N' Go) motorcycle and I purchased it in good faith believing that she would stand behind the products she represented and sold, that she should work with the manufacturer to get my biked repaired and operational at no additional cost to me. My TNG (Twist N' Go) motorcycle now bike still sits at their new location at 4000 Boulder Highway # 14, Las Vegas with a new problem that was discovered while sitting in their shop. They now tell me that I need to pay for a brake caliber. It is incredible to me that this part would go out after so little use of the bike (due to it being in disrepair during most of my ownership.)

Since Ms. Glatter is unwilling to work with me to resolve this issue in a reasonable and fair, I have no choice but to caution as many others as I can who are contemplating spending their hard-earned money to purchase a scooter/motorcycle -- in my case #3,433.55 -- to be very careful if doing business with Ms. Glatter and any entity she works with. My experiences have shown me that Ms. Glatter cannot be trusted to live up to your word or stand behind the products she sells.

CAUTION: Buyer Beware. If I could do it again, I would not have given Ms. Glatter the opportunity to treat me unfairly and rob me of $3,433.55. If I ever decide to purchase another scooter or motorcycle, I will definitely go to a reputable, well-known manufacturers like Honda, Yamaha, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, and Suzuki. This is a lessoned learned the hard way.
