It's a complete waste buying their coverage.   There are several reports here about how they try to avoid covering when you file a cliam.   They will try to avoid in every which way possible.     They don't care about safety of the vehicle or personnel.  All they care is how to avoid covering anything and let the customer dry.   We got ripped of twice in our auto lease, when we tried to replace tires and fix wheel rashes.   When we tried to change our high performance runflat  tires with nail in it, every tire company said (inclduing the dealer) that due to tread depth, you cannot change one tire.   You've to do both tires and they want to fix only one.   But then the repair center pulled out a nail and they recommeded you've to replace, and it's a matter of time, the tire will blow or cause other damage.  But safeguard won't fix it , until it's flat.  Which means you keep driving and run a flat veer of the road and hit a tree.     This is an example of how greed works in american corporations.   Businesses like this are just conning people and giving them the perception of peace of mind, but in reality just sucking all your money and putting you in dangerous situations.

Our recommendation is just buy a lease end coverage directly from the dealer that has manfucaturer coverage (e.g bmw lease end, etc,. ) .    when you buy directly, when you have problems or coverage, the dealer will deal with the coverage dept and you don't have to .      When you're close to your lease/return the dealer will refuse to work with any party including this scum safeguard.   And you're stuck.

NEVER AGAIN!!
