Safe Touch Tampa Safe Touch Security Systems Inc. Do Not Use!
They have a Five Year Contract they trick you into.
Jordi Prat came to our house on July 19, 2013. My husband and I were both home, my husband was adamant about no contracts, Jordi insisted we would not be in a contract. With a quick sign here and here, he took full advantage of it being dinnertime and our 3 kids were running around, now they are trying to stick it to us.
They cannot provide the technology that other providers can. When I talked to them last week it was "oh no problem", but when the day came to actually cancel (new service is being installed) I was told I now had to provide a cancellation letter but since we are in this ridiculous 5 YEAR Contract, they may not even cancel it, but if they do cancel us they want to continue billing us. Actually said that!!!!
I explained we were told there would be no contracts, and the response was "well... you are in a 5 year contract"
AT&T runs circles around Safe Touch technology and will fight them all the way. FIVE YEARS!! Who signs anything for five years!

Thanks for this very helpful and constructive response. We were told (and I believe it is even hand written somewhere) there was no obligation or contract and all documents were formalities. Over several days and many hours they were at our house and at that point we just wanted them gone. It is very deceptive in that there is no reason such a lengthy term should be buried in the fine print. We may very well have not spent the full amount of time poring over the details, but as a working couple with 3 young children we don't have infinite amounts of free time like people who troll message boards pouncing with snarky and useless comments. It doesn't make it any less shady and consistent with every other comment on here.
