Ok we all see stories about how bad a company is and how they didn't pay. We think maybe they were just bad contractors and that's what happen.

Our company was in business for 7 years before we took work from safeguard properties and we ranged from $200,000 to $500,000 a year in gross sales. We saw the war stories and thought same as above. We worked with them for a year and the money was being paid (super late but paid). My wife feel ill after our child was born and I took off from work orders for about two months. after the two months we told them we can no longer take work orders due to family medical issues.

at this time we were owed $13,598 still. Long story short, after 5 months later we still have not seen any of the money owed to us. What we have seen was back charge after back charge. They have back charged us the $13,598 owed to us and have back charged us so far to date $41,035. before you think "what the heck you guys mess up", that's the thing, nothing. All the back charges are from jobs we have done 17-22 months ago. They back charged us $675 for a seam in carpet that was visible. The room was 10x10. No carpet builders grade cost that much. It was never visable and the realtor signed off on all our paperwork and gave us 10's on our papereork. now all of a sudden 19 months later there's an issue and we get a charge back.

another chargeback was for $2950 for not connecting electric to an a/c unit. We have emails stating not to connect the electric when we brought it to their attention. This one is 11 months ago and guess what, all of a sudden it's an issue and they charged us back.

heres the kicker. They don't call your company to go fix any issues if they do find them. They say they have another contractor fix it already and charge you. It's obvious this is a scam. all yea, we just received our 1099 from them and they over stated the 1099 by $12170. So there's another thing we have to deal with.

for you contractors that are thinking about doing work for these guys or any bank repo company for that matter beware. None are in business to help you. They all have the business plan to make money and take yours. you will NEVER come out ontop. if you want to get in this industry you can simply do it yourself and bypass the middleman who takes all the money.

WOW safeguard is now replying to these reports acting like a subcontractor

it is blatantly obvious that this was a safeguard employee replying to this.

Number one we were a licensed electrician company and HVAC company. And we did plumbing we subbed the plumbing out with guys that we've used for over seven years. And if you really were a true vendor for safeguard you would know that yard maintenance is a completely separate them division than hazard claims. We were hazard claims. When we enrolled in safeguard they require you to send them your licensing and qualifications. as you complete each job you are required to show before, during and after photos (which also had to include permits).

we were by the book on every job we done. We did as we were asked. Again we never had any issues we never had any chargebacks until we decided to quit the business and then all the sudden they did not want to pay is anymore and they want to charge back for everything they can come up with.

safeguard, if you want to act like you're a subcontractor and do one of these rebuttals that doesn't justify your end. Be like all the other responsible companies and contact ripoff report and go threw their process. WE ALL KNOW TOU WILL NOT BECAUSE ONCE INVESTGATED ALL YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY WILL COME OUT.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a few vendors that has/are working with them for several years. But they are the vendors that make the $10 or $45 per job and it doesn't cost that much for them to pay you and make you happy. Once you get into the $5,000 $10,000 and $40,000 jobs that's when you have the issues. Your little yard jobs don't cost you anything so you don't have much to lose. I was true contractors that have the real employees on Worker's Comp. and have licensing have to come out of pocket for all materials for every single job and hope that we get paid. So safeguard is more quick to screw us.

so long story short, before you want to rebuttal or put in your two cents be in the division or actually do the jobs that we do and know what you're talking about.
