Sage Payment Solutions EFT GETI Check Services Contract Changed without notice, adding termination fee. Fort Walton Beach Florida

This company uses highly unethical business practices.  I contracted with them for check verification services by initialing a small "add-on services" section when signing up with Central Payment CC processing (another shady company). The stated terms with Sage (GETI) included a $125 penalty for early cancellation (less than 24 months).

After three years with them, I sent my cancellation notice. I was told by their customer service department (oxymoron) my contract ran "in perpituity" and I had to pay $199 and three more months service charges in order to cancel. 

They told me it was in my contract, one that I had never seen, did not sign, and did not know existed. They sent me a copy of the contract which incredibly was six full pages of very tiny print. Buried in there was this ridiculous fee just to cancel. Basically they just stole $199 from my bank account, as well as two more months service charges.

I seldom used the service and with all their fees it turns out if I had just torn up all the checks I had "verified" it would have cost me less than what I paid this bad company.
