SAIA LTL FREIGHT SAIA TRUCKING PILFERS AND STEALS FREIGHT YOU ENTRUST THEM TO MOVE FROM POINT A TO POINT B Johns Creek, Georgia

Saia LTL freight company has to be the worst trucking company in the USA. 

Our company has had minor problems with this nationally known trucking company but what happened in November of 2012 takes the cake.

Saia was entrusted to move three pallets of my company products from Florida to California.  I try to avoid this carrier at all cost and the events that occured in the middle of November of 2012 will serve as a testimonial for you to never use this common carrier EVER!

The 3 pallets were picked up in FT MYERS Florida for what was to be an uneventful 5 to 6 day trip back to my company warehouse in Northern California.  The pickup driver violated trucking protocol from the start.  He refused to take a carton count for each pallet and also refused to sticker the boxes with a pro number which acts as a tracking number for the freight.

Fast forward 6 to 7 days later.  My freight arrives and it is pilfered and ripped off beyond belief.  20+ cartons of baseball equipment and related products are simply gone.  Layers and layers of professional grade shrink wrap cut or ripped away and SAIA company employees and/or their criminal cohorts simply help themselves along the way to my company property.

In the end SAIA has done nothing, provided no explanation; only some 83 cloudy photos of hard to see freight on pallets in any number of the 5 depots the freight moved to along it's path back to California.

Becasue of trucking rules and regulations, this scoundrel company and it's thug workers and drivers are legally only responsible for $1 a pound in loss.  And loss to them is theft, pilferage, damage or any other adjective that you care to use that ends up with your property vanishing with NO explanation.

Stay away from this carrier at all cost.  It is only a matter of time that what happened to me and my company, will happen to you and your freight.

Saia is by far the worst freight company I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

They are essentially thugs and thieves parading as a legitimate LTL trucking concern.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
