I have sent approx. $550 so far and after reading all of the above, i believe i will not send anymore but will still return the prayer requests. Afterall, they r paying the postage and i love the idea of someone praying for me. But after reading all of the above, i do feel like an idiot for sleeping with things under my pillow!!!
I KNOW the Lord will hear my prayers even if i don't sleep with something under my pillow!! As for the seed harvest i think i might just send one dollar a week now and give to my own church more here or give more to united way. I guess what we're all trying to do is "buy" the Lord Blessings when in reality he is just waiting for us to ask him to Bless us!!! Ask and you shall recieve!!..not "pay" and you shall recieve..but the one good thing that has come out of all this is it makes us more aware of the Lord!!... so he DOES use everything to the good of the believer.. i man yes.. i do feel like an idiot for sending those 20's and sometimes more but this DID make me pray more!! so that in itself is a Blessing.. in a way.. satan's plan backfired!! so PTL anyway!!!
