Salee Amina, operating under FIG Association (to keep all paperwork out of her own name), and Paul Fegen (owner of FIG Association) have been scamming victims by illegally renting space out in thier house, then forcing tenants out by hassassment, intimidation, changing locks, etc. Most victims in the past have either endured the hassasment or left without receiving their money back or both. When they leave, they are promised money back but it's never returned. Recently, the landlord of the house came by and tore down all rooms and walls on the lower level, rendering all tenants homeless without compensation. I do not believe he had a permit to demolish, nor did he give us any warning, nor did he even evacuate tenants before starting the demolition. Walls were literally falling down around tenants. I got a call at work from a tenant urging me to rush home to remove by belongings from my locked room before it was torn down. In addition, I have reason to believe that the landlord knowingly exposed tenants and workers to black mold by disturbing it growing in the walls (a little research will inform you that disturbing the black mold causes it to go airborn and become even more dangerous). I believe we (10+ victims that will testify) have claims against Salee Amina, Paul Fegen and FIG Association for scamming us out of money (keeping rent money on rooms that no longer exist) as well as against the landlord, for illegaly demolishing our rooms with no permit, rendering us homeless with no compensation and knowingly exposing us and our possessions to black mold.
