I purchased an 2 year membership to Sales Success International after a presentation by Sean Downing at my Real Estate Office. I was promised unlimited attendance at any or all of the numerous seminars he had listed. The information left at the time only listed cities but no dates. I was told to go to the web-site to get more detailed information.
Upon checking the web-site I found no dates or specifics. I started e-mailing and calling with no response. Finally I contacted my credit card company which opened a dispute. I was credited the money back until they had a response from SSI - he was given 60 days to respond. On the 59th day he responded that he had a "No Refund Policy" & that "if I would have bought concert tickets and not used them I would not get my money back". Well at least if I would have bought concert tickets I would have know where & when it was!!! So the charges were reversed back to me. I have been attempting to contact Sean Downing since.
I have discovered that all web-sites are down. All phones have been disconnected. The address I have is in San Antonio & I can find no record of a business ever being there. The address in Dallas is a P.O. Box. No way to trace. The credit card company will not re-open the dispute and Sean Downing has disapeared!!!
This guy is bad news & smoothly ripping people off. I have filed a complaint with the Dallas Better Business Bureau & the Texas Attorney General. I urge everyone else who has been ripped off by this scam artist to do the same.
At this point it is not the money but the principle. I will not stop until I find him & he better be weary of a woman whos been ripped off of her hard earned money!!!
Please contact me if you have any leads on this scumbag & PLEASE file with the Attorney General.

Iused to work for this company. And they do put on incredible seminars and events. I have noticed some complaints and wanted to give inside input as to what has happened. With an extreme downturn in the economy, this company has taken many hits over the past 12 months. This in turn has caused many issues. I know this company and they have always put on the best events. I was let go in September as the company was shutting down, and going to restructure their business thru BK protection. I am not sure to the status of that, but, I do know they will bounce back bigger than ever and continue to put on great events in the future.Sean Downing is one of the best speakers I have ever seen and trains on topics that no one can train! he is the best at what he does and that is a speaker/trainer. By the way, Sean Downing (as stated in other posts) is not the owner of this company. He is an employee and one of the speakers and trainers. Anyway, thought I put my two sense worth in as a ex employee. If you can ever attend a Sean Downing Live Event, I would absoultely attend. Its the BEST!
