We are opening a new retail business and were obviously mislead with deceptive advertising regarding the quality and types of salvage merchandise available.
Upon contacting this company, we explained exactly what we were doing and types of merchandise we wanted. Also explained that if we were treated professionaly, this company could be our main supplier.
What we recieved was approx. 90% unwanted merchandise with at least 60% of it being total junk. These websites portray 10-25% throwaway/unuseable items.
We were expecting and were prepared for 25% or even slightly higher throwaway. We were also expecting to receive a significantly higher percentage of merchandise in website description.
Numerous e-mails, pictures, phone calls to unanswered phones and a few actual conversations have produced no results. In our opinion, this company does not care about it's customers.
Additional measures are being pursued and info is available upon request.
Should you be considering this type of business's service, be extremely careful !!!

Same 800 phone number.
There is now also a spot on the salvagecloseouts site that claims if you want to double or tripple your money, you've come to the right place.
By my experience with them, it's more like if you want to loose half to 2/3 of your money give them a call.
I'm sure they would be happy to rip you off !!!!
Definately false, deceptive and misleading advertising.
They obviuosly have no concept of honesty and integrity.
There has been no reply from them to me. If an honest businessman had a problem with a customer, they would at least make contact and try to make it right.
They could care less..............they have my money..
