The Salvation Army Continues to become more and more organized in the funneling (theft) of donated goods via employees and "ARC" (Adult Rehab Workers). I am a thrift shopper and collector and belong to a large group of collectors who have been shopping everywhere including thrift stores, distribution centers like the Salvation Army and Goodwill. Unbelievable what goes on.

The Management at the SA has been totally stealing goods for years and have been getting away with it even though letters have been sent identifying the people involved from there employees.

Since expansion of online shopping it has made selling items much easier...so guess what? There $10.00 an hour employees are now making $50.00 an hour and more selling Gucci, Channel, Computers, Jewellry, Cameras, Pottery, Art, and sooooooooo much more ...you just would not believe it. This has also created a network of dishonest shoppers who bribe the employees to get them items. This goes on all the time.

I could write a book on how many times I have seen this happen in there stores and distribution centers. Total corruption from the top down. You will not see any information regarding internal theft online unless its from a paper trail such as falsified checks. The fact is that employees are buying, stealing, putting aside items and getting there family and friends to purchase valuable merchandise all the time.

There are many people who have profited, became rich thru this process and still manage (are employed) at the Salvation Army in Lytton Springs Healdsburg. This Salvation Army Manager just tells you that there donations are down and thats why they have to raise there prices....LOL. Its all about control for there managers and trusted employees who have become a part of a criminal group working withing the system. Or maybe the whole system is corrupt (horrible thought).

These managers are so good at stealing and not leaveing a trail that everytime they are audited they just pass the blame to the honest employees employees and say they are not doing there job. In the end the honest employee gets fed up with the system or just moves on leaving the manager the opportunity to replace them with a dishonest employee or relative who will be more easily controlled. They in turn are allowed to steal (just enough to keep them happy). Sounds familiar...how about organize crime.

I am so glad that this site has brought some of this information out, Especially because it has come from some of the honest ex employees. Thank you for sounding out about this. Thank you for showing that you care. Thank you for being honest.
