Samsclubs automatic membership renewal is a complete ripoff and it is bigscam, G.E Money financials is their partners on this big time scam, please beware consumers before they ruin your good credit score and your credit score can nose dive and it will be ruined for at least 7years if you have a score of 780 it will be droping down to 650 in less than a year due to this wonderfull scam!

Here is long story short, became member 2006 October, and they offered the Membership card that can be used as store credit card as well and as frequent shopper at sammy accepted the offer and had a balance of 800.00 in March 07 and everything got paid off by April of 2007 and had zero balance. on May 2007, thinking of not having the membership renewed, for the 2007 October, just called SamsClub and told them don't want to continue the membership for the next year and they said it is just fine.

Starting May of 2007 they were sending the statement notice with 40.00 membership fee due for the following year membership, seeing that I called them again and told them wouldn't like to continue the membership at this time and so associate on the other said to just to ignore the bill since it is generated by the computer automatically. thinking it is no bigdeal I just ignored those statements that kept saying 40.00 due for membership until now, in March of 2008 applied for credit increase with one of my cards from $1000 to whatever the max they can provide figured they couldn't do it since there is some thing on the file.

since they denied me went to Bureau's file and figured G.E Money people without giving notices or warnings reported that 40.00 membership due since may of 2007 to the credit bureau, had more than 65 accounts with a good rating of never late, and paid everything on time and before due date. one simple mistake of joing the samsclub and signing up for their credit card ruin the credit score from 780 to 620 now. called many times to report to gemoney/samsclub they don't want listen to the story and simply telling me to dispute.

Any Suggestions/Advice how to carry on to this situation please feel free to express your feeling here go ahead if you wanna call me an idiot, that fine. Just wanna make sure gaints like SAMSCLUB and GEMoney would not create more idiots/fools/stupids/innocent victims then they have created in this society.

Proofs can be provided for the above for further investigation.
