I had purchased 8 propane turkey from auctioneer Samuel Haddad at almost retail price at his weekly auction. They were all marked complete and said to be complete and that all the parts were included. I got the fryers home and listed them for resale online and quickly had potential buyers on their way to buy them. When they arrived i looked like a fool as me and potential buyers searched every box trying to piece at least one fryer together. The so called "complete" fryers were far from being complete. I immediately contacted Samuel to notify him of the mistake he had made and he asked me to bring them back and he'd fix the problem. The following week i showed up with the fryers in the boxes the same way i had purchased them. When spoke to Samuel he asked for my check out paper which produced then he told me he wasn't going to refund my money because everything is "sold as is". I spend good money at his auction and only asked for store credit towards my next purchase which i figured wasn't asking for much being that i was made to look like a fool and driven 45 miles back with the merchandise that he had lied about. Again he refused to do anythin even though he said he would when i first notifide him. A small disagreement lead him to getting really loud with me in front of everyone and eventually him threatening me and charging me at which time i used self defence to prevent him from harming me. (His a** got rocked!) He then ran to the office as though he was acting like he was going to grab a weapon but instead came running out with a phone in his hands saying he was callin g the cops. I stayed until cops arrived so my side could be told as well. Cops were almost on the floor laughing while he claimed that i repeatedly beat him in the head with a turkey fryer. LMFAO. He sure talks a lot of trash and acts like a bada** to not be able to stay standing when he gets hit by a man for once while trying to attack someone. His own workers were laughing at him when he went in the office. This is one place that dispite rather you are a good paying customer that got ripped off for $300.00 they will continue to try to cheat and scam people out of their hard earned money.
