San Carlos German Auto Works ripoff dishonest terrible customer service no customer loyalty San Carlos California

I have been a loyal and regular customer with this mechanic for about two years, always taking their advise on repairs needed for my vehicle, that always seem to come up during a routine oil change.

This week I took my vehicle in for my usual oil change, of course another "problem" was found (Tie Rods needed replacing). I agreed to have them replaced. When I went to pick up my vehicle they advised that the "technician" rolled down my rear window and when he tried to roll it up it would not. When I asked them why they rolled in down in the first place they said to "check it" why should they check my windows during a routine oil change?! Looking for more money to make? I proceeded to tell them that my vehicle was brought to them in good condition, all windows up and working and that it is their responsibility to give it back to me in the same condition. They told me that I would have to pay them now to "fix" the window.

This is very poor customer service and this mechanic has absolutely no customer loyalty, he is out to make a fast buck and any poor unknowing soul that comes to him for minor repairs or routine checks and goes out spending always over $500.
