    I'm shocked.I was healthy 25 year paralyzed veteran,Carl T hayden had its problems early,were under investigation,and now 8 mo.s after Pres.Obama visited,Its much worse.I have some of the most serious wounds they've ever seen ,so they tell me.Been told i smelt like 'death' from the wounds.

   Its april now,i haven't seen my doctor from the copper clinic,my primary doctor,since october.My most recent visit shocked me on april 1st.My doctors nurse looks at 2 holes in each buttock,one hole in my hip that track to the inner thigh revealing tissue,bone,etc.These wounds are clean,i try so hard.The Doctor said in May he was putting me on 'paliative' care.Basically,heres som drugs to make you comfortable,to make dying easier.At the time,i'm not dying,and subsequent visits,startede at 4 month intervals.

   By mid- summer the visits get sheduled further and further,I'm told I'm being ignored,pushed aside to die.The visits get more abrupt.I asked to see the doctor on several occasions to be met with an excuse,almost as if her real job is to either fill his time with other activities or that I'm not worth his time or he's not available.Well,what about MAKING an appointment for when i can see him?Blah,blah,and yadda,so ...no.THEN she makes my next appointment for 8 WEEKS LATER!This,for a man with his guts exposed,no life due to these wounds.Mind you,they're all very nice,but put boundaries up,which can be taken as a threat not to treat.

     For example,we all agreed that the wound does leak,and a wound vacuum would help.But,oh,no,it won't work because the Nurse says it supposed to be applied unmolested for a full week,and since i take showers ,it won't work.Really!?

    So ,i leave copper clinic.In the past there was a mass exodus of workers closed up tight at 4:00 pm.Today is amazing,2:30,the halls are thinning,by 3,its a ghost town,i go to travel to try to get  home.Copper called,but,who knows.TTravel is bare.Its 3pm.I sit in travel for 45 mins.,then call travel while i'm in travel.The whole thing is a mess.No doctor,no chance to see a doctor,shot down on treatment VAC for a stupid reason,2 month ppointment,and I'm supposed to die.I don't feel like dying right now ,thank you very much.But what options HAVE they given me?

5 years later ,back to my original care center that initially sent me to the SAn Diego Facility ,The Carl T. Hayden Veterans Medical Center.I was unaware of exactly what was occurring,most likeley,becauase3 i had unknowingly been familiarized to the incompetent manner in which its run.

   Now, its hard to pin blame on who caused one man or two to die while4 awaiting treatment,but in the PODIATRY unit i experienced crowding,which i was told because certain anamolys must come on certain days.All the people are kind enough.My legs were suggested to be cut off.For 2 years with much begging on my part to try different treatments,its usually a brand-new college intern getting first hands-on training.Unsupervised of course.

   The did find a bacteria,deciced to give me I?M antibiotics.My feet are now cleared up from aggressive care by me,no need to amputate now.

     I am not sure I should name the Doctors involved,although i can tell you the Plastic Surgeon is willing to substantiate my claims.The date is easy,for i stayed there exactly one full year ,Nov,24,2011-2012.The V.A. must be very aware of the possible incompetence of Doctors,or know that these Doctors have questionable issues in private practice,also the uncertanties of student internships with ambitions that may endanger the patient and hospital.

       They FORCE you to sign disclosures that waive all legal rights,short of pre-meditated murder.And I'm not sure these 20-30 pages of waivers are designed to do just that too.That,signing in for a specific operation,and having wrong operation with disaterous results,is actually so common a result,it needs this 'esoteric' psuedo-legal 'waivers'.Let the victim patient die,or live in hospice,an existence of misery,pain,sequestered from any meaningful life.The result of protection 'waivers'.It's criminal in itself.

       In my opinion,IT SHOULD BE A CRIMINAL ACT IN ITSELF to force a patient,and coerce a patient to sign any document absolving themselves of incompetence.I'm in 4x worse shape than when i entered there with recommendation and specific skin flap,and ending with 4 more holes,dislocated hip,THEN, wanted to covor up the whole mess by amputating my hips,carrying my stomach,bladder,and colon in a bag!

      Enough was enough,I got out of there as quick as possible,willing to rather die than be subject to more of this n**i-type experimentations.Which,once they get you in and messed up enough with drugs and failed surgery,argueing Doctors,loss of home,they make virtually impossible to refuse.At that point all hope,trust and will leaves you with 2 choices=go die on the road,or spend 2-3 years being slowly cut away.People,I'm so serious,it was that horrible.It's a crime to sign these all-encompassing disclosures.
