Sandpoint Capital Payday loan phone call harrassment and re-payment Charleston

Around january I took out a payday loan with this company for $300 dollars(looking back, bad choice). I never once recieved any kind of letters or correspdance about pay off or anything of this nature.

they just kept debiting my account. now i have since closed my account and began work with a debt relief company. But yesterday morning i recieved two threatening phone calls from a guy who claimed to be a private investigator working for the government named kieth(starnge since he had a very thick indian accent).

I didnt take the calls because i didnt recognize the numbers, but "kieth" was nice enough to leave two messages. lucky me. the first one was telling me that i was going to go to jail if i didn't call him back he had my social security number and could make my life hellish and so on. the second he thought he was leaving on a different phone number to my boss telling him that he was going to go to jail if he didn't make me pay up and "the choice is yours".

So i called this guy back, he immediatley began threatening me with jail time, and that my boss and everyone i had listed on my references was going to go to jail, he is going to wreck my credit and so on.

I calmly stated i was working with a debt relief company and that his company would get paid.(oh yeah, in the message he said he was a private investigator, when i talked to him he worked for the comapny directly...kind of strange).

He repeated his threats, so i reminded him i am not stupid and i know my rights and that i could file a suit against him for threatening him. He asked if i wanted to talk to the comapny's lawyer, so i said yes. he put his phone on hold and when it picked up again it was the SAME guy!!!!

Like i am not going to be able to tell the difference. He repeated his threats, so i said "well, if you are a lawyer you would know what you are saying to me is illegal to say, and if this is true, i would have to recieve official letters stating i am being sued...."

at this point he got very angry and began yelling and said if i didnt pay up by 2:00 eastern time someone would be at my house to arrest me...i just calmly repeated that i was working with a debt relief company and that this call was over.

i hung up, and i didnt hear from him again. that was yesterday, i don't know if he will continue to call or not, but is there anything i can do besides just tell him to stop calling? I am working a debt relief company Sandpoint Capital will be gettng paid...but can i report this guy somewhere?

long story short, avoid this company Sandpoint Capital like the plague, in fact avoid payday loans all together.
