I found this photographer at a modeling site and he kept insisting I shoot with him. The day of the shoot he kept trying to touch me (saying he's just "adjusting") and asking me to take off my clothes to do "playboy style shoot" since he claims i have a "great look for it."I kept refusing and he kept insisting until he was pretty much on me and I had to run off right in the middle.

After the shoot he kept calling to harrass me. When I just told him to f*** off he said I wasn't "good enough anway"...hmm why would he be so desperate to shoot with me if I wasn't good enough? Odd, and that my breasts werent big enough and I would never make it in this industry. This guy is a flat out perv who is trying to lure girls in by promising them photos. STEER CLEAR OF HIM!

Another Victim of Sanford Porter

AUTHOR: Fuzzyjackets - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 19, 2008

I am another Victim of Sanford...
I shot with Sanford one time and he didn't have a Studio so we shot on location. He also told me the same things to some extent. He told me I was the most beautiful girl he ever saw and that he could help me as a model. He would talk to me in a very un professional manner.

During that shoot he would talk about sex, bring up how there was this hidden attraction between him and all his other models he's worked with, that he would not dare act on it that he would always wait for the model to make the first move then act on it. I was very uncomfortable during the entire shoot. He would also try and touch me and I simply told him no I can do it myself. I have also had few conversations with other models who have had the same experience as I have.

I also want to make this clear I do not know the person who wrote the original post nor am I a competitor or a jealous boyfriend/spouse. I am a Model who has worked with Sanford in the past.

Nobody has questioned you? How can you prove that? We don't even know who you are. For all I know, you're not even a real person. And no one has ever questioned his professionalism either.
And of course, Sanford deleted his model mayhem acc and made another one with the SAME name because he wanted to hide...? Interesting. Also, even if you delete you acc, and want to create another one with the same name, you can't. You acc is just inactive, not deleted. So you know Sanford was Sanford at the time, and he's still using his real name today, I don't think he is guilty of anything. The accounts are still there. And yes, he has 2, one with his company's name and one with his name. And if you go on his website, you will see both of these names pop up right as you load the first page, so not even the studio's name is a fake. So yeah, he definitely doesn't have anything to hide.

If you indeed had gone to the police to file a sexual abuse report, I truly doubt they would say something like 'we don't give a flying f*ck', because that's a serious offense. So again, you're lying.

"The fact is that I have never had anyone question my professionalism on ModelMayhem. I have never had any sort of tag or correspondence that expressed any criticism or disharmony."
Right, because you can easily delete that sort of thing, and pressing the link above you can clearly see that you deleted your model mayhem. Maybe it was an old one and you got a new one, but the link above no longer goes to any site.

Also none of what I am saying is false. You clearly posted under two separate names and you also have told me and plenty of other people that I am ugly and worthless and will never make it in the industry. I have gone to the police with sexual abuse reports in the past and they didn't give a flying f*ck which is why i have never again tried to report such a case, because it's worthless and a waste of time and if I were to chose to bring it to court, money.

Response to Accuser's Remarks

AUTHOR: Sanfordporter - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 17, 2008

First off, I have not deleted my Model Mayhem account. On my ModelMayhem, one sees only fashion just as it has always been. There is nothing resembling nudity or glamour even. I do shoot glamour occasionally but my focus is fashion. I have had nothing but universally positive reviews of my work. 99 % of the models I have ever shot with have expressed an interest in shooting with me again.

As far as rebuttals go (so far), there exists my rebuttal and a model that worked with me did a rebuttal and a colleague also provided a rebuttal. Why would it be unusual that friends/collaborators would wish to come to someone's defense as soon as they learn of this kind of thing? I wouldn't have a problem getting a hundred rebuttals attesting to my commitment to professionalism.

ModelMayhem is a society in itself and members have discussions about photographers who have accusations of unethical behavior. This way people who are actually in the business become aware of a potential problem. The fact is that I have never had anyone question my professionalism on ModelMayhem. I have never had any sort of tag or correspondence that expressed any criticism or disharmony. I suspect that since the one accuser chose to use RipoffReport.com to make his case, that he has purposely chosen a cowardly anonymous path. This person may well not even be model, either. What is certain is that my accuser is a coward with some passive aggressive issues and who surely is jealous of the quality of my work.

There are risks to trying to ruin someone's reputation and damage someone. This site keeps logs of the submitter's IP numbers and other data that can trace the false accuser. These records can be subpoenaed. I am in the process of exploring my legal options to get some justice here. I suggest my accuser read up on the kind of damages that can be imposed by a court of law. I know my credibility will be vindicated in a forum where creepy cowardly accusers are exposed for who they are and their false accusations are exposed to justice.

Irrelevant Accusation...

AUTHOR: Fairjustice - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 16, 2008

This is no different than what happens in some third world countries, where all it takes is an accusations by a couple of individuals to land you in a prison or labor camp. In this case, the penalty paid is the demise of a person's moral character and professional reputation.
Being a professional in the business, I understand how some models might be offended by excessive 'art direction' in photography. However, good fashion photography is not the result of prudish models that are easily offended by art direction.

If a model can't deal with posing sexy or suggestively, they shouldn't be there in the first place. Good fashion photographers like Mr. Porter do this all day long and it's very hard work. The last thing on a fashion photographer's mind is to 'cop a feel'. I think this accuser is ignorant and gives herself too much credit.

Because there was no monetary exchange in this agreement, I see no relevance to a 'ripoff' scenario here. This is an amateur's accusation of a professional and it should not be accepted on this website as a 'ripoff'. The only ripoff taking place here is that of a hard working professional's image and reputation.

Sanford

POSTED: Sunday, March 16, 2008

While this was a while ago I do remember Sanford telling me I was too ugly to ever make it and I do know he does shoot glamour and claims to work for Playboy. Obviously he knows what I said is true otherwise he would not have deleted his Model Mayhem account, the only thing I could possibly use as proof since I do not have the good sense to bring a freaking voice recorder or video camera to all my shoots. Honestly how does he want me to "prove" anything???? Nobody goes around recording what people say.

Also i find it funny that the only two rebuttals defending him were typed within one hour on the same day ...way to prove yourself! Its obvious that you wrote both rebuttals yourself

Really...

AUTHOR: Pandora - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 15, 2008

I've worked with Infinity Studios more than once, just me and the photographer. He never once touched me or made an inappropriate request or comment. I've known him for a couple of years now, never heard any other model that he has worked with make such a comment. I truly doubt he would ever do something like that. Besides, he shoots fashion not playboy. Sanford is a really nice person, he would never tell someone they're not good enough. (Your post seems very untrue in many ways...I think you are very self conscious and just wants attention).

A Competitor's Aim To Tarnish My Integrity/Reputation!?!

AUTHOR: Sanfordporter - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 15, 2008

This site came to my attention today (March 15th, 2008) much to my disappointment and embarrassment.

It's obvious to me that the intention of this individual is to tarnish my reputation. Although the motive of this bogus claim is unknown to me, I can only imagine that it would have to be one of a few possibilities: 1.) Another photographer jealous of the quality of my work and wishing to spread lies or 2.) A model wanna-be was upset that I would not photograph her and lastly #3.) a jealous boyfriend or spouse doesn't want his significant-other modeling.

FACT #1: Anyone can anonymously create a "persona" on this website and without any investigation post any sort of statement. Their motives can either be vengeance or they are a competitor. The site doesn't request any sort of proof or evidence to substantiate a claim (as it should)!
FACT #2: I have a pristine reputation as a professional photographer of fashion! I do not shoot nudity!!! I do not subscribe or try to shoot for Playboy!! I shoot fashion and 90% of my work is high fashion and beauty. I have NEVER touched a model and generally have a creative team present! My reputation as a professional is important to me and I take it very seriously!

CHALLENGE: I challenge this accuser to provide any evidence that helps the public
know, without doubt, that his/her statements are true.

Whereas I can imagine this site providing a service to the public in terms of sharing some experience relative to a company (restaurant, store, etc), this review is a personal attack against me and these unsubstantiated statements should be removed (or proven to be true by an objective third party).
